金秋时节，新华公学各学部代表，奔赴上海参加了IB教育的年度盛宴——IB中国教育论坛，IB中国教育论坛是由国际文凭安排主办的连续性年会，该论坛重在展现本乡化实践效果，共享教育实践阅历。本届主题为"激起能动性——让学生成为学习的主人"。论坛为期两天，共有4场宗旨讲演，10场交融课程展现以及35场分论坛共享。

This past week, the IB Leadership at Xinhua Academy attended the 3rd annual International Baccalaureate Chinese Education Forum (IBCEF) at Shangde Experimental School in Shanghai. The focus of the forun was "Student Agency by Design," and it did not fail to provide us with many concrete examples of students taking the lead in their own educational development. The layout of the forum consisted of five keynote speakers on Friday and over 35 breakout sessions on Saturday in both Chinese and English.

这是一场IB教育者的巅峰集会，来自全国各地的IB教育者齐聚一堂只为探究更好的中西交融的教育办法，而这，也正是咱们新华公学不懈的寻求方针。正所谓，参考之资，可以攻玉。经过这次论坛，各参会教师收成良多：

This is a summit gathering of IB educators. IB educators from all over the country come together to explore a better education mode of integration of the east and the west, which is the unremitting pursuit goal of Xinhua Academy. Through this forum, teachers can gain a lot:

1) Any organization, business, or school must have a clear and common vision for where they are going and how they plan to get there. As a school that influences the learning and development of over 300 children, it is imperative that all stakeholders share a common vision for our students and school.

2) The future of our IB Program is on the right track. Now that we have begun implementing the IB framework, we must begin developing the long-term vision for how we will grow IB in all sections of our school community.

这是一场才智的盛宴，更是各个校园中西交融教育的阅历狂欢。会上，很多优异从业者无私地奉献了有关怎么激起学生的学习内驱力的相关行动，更有着来自四面八方的中文学科教育者共享了他们怎么将IB理念和本乡课程相结合的名贵阅历，这些名贵的阅历解开了我许多的困惑，也进一步协助我清晰了往后的工作办法和方向。

最终，IBCEF对一切到会的新华公学教师来说都是一次很好的学习阅历。这不仅是一个与他校树立联络、加强协作以及培育新的互利联系的时机，还可以腾出时刻反思咱们的发展，考虑新的办法，协助新华公学成为国际一流的IB校园。

In the end, the IBCEF was a great learning experience for all Xinhua staff in attendance. Besides being an opportunity for networking, collaborating and fostering new and mutually beneficial relationships, we were able to set time aside to reflect on our progress and think of new ways to help make Xinhua Academy a world class IB school.
